  • Trench Back-Filling, Compaction and Remediation
  • Cable Pulling and Pushing
  • Parts, Tool, or Equipment Retrieval as Instructed
  • Groundman Duties for Aerial Construction

Title Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Technician
Location Camp Verde, AZ
Job Information

We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician experienced in truck/diesel and construction equipment repairs to work in our Camp Verde Arizona facility. Successful candidate will provide automotive repairs by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations efficiently, safely and according to manufacturer’s recommendations. MUST have ASE Master Certification and welding experience. Work hours Monday-Friday 6am-4pm. We are typically closed on Saturdays and always on Sunday. $20-25/hour DOE and includes health insurance.

Job Description

  • Automotive technicians / auto mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturing standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications

  • ASE Master Certification a must. Ford certification a plus
  • At least 5 years of verifiable mechanic/technician experience
  • Proficient with welding tools to repair, design and fabricate tools and special vehicle components
  • Diagnostic, welding and other major tools, stands, platforms, etc. will be provided
  • Successful candidate will be required to provide their own hand tools, and other specialized tools preferred by mechanic, to be stored in lockable tool chest
  • Team oriented, flexible and committed to a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment
  • High School Diploma. Certificate or associate’s degree program in heavy equipment repair a plus
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, DMV check, and drug screen test
