Pneumatic Boring

Underground pneumatic piercing tools are often referrd to as hogs, air hogs, or pneuma gophers. The tool is used to bore a hole underground between two points without disturbing the surface ground. Pipe Ramming

Pipe ramming (or pipe jacking in British English) is a trenchless method for installation of steel pipes and casings. Distances up to 30m (150 ft) long and up to 1,500mm (60-inches) in diameter are feasible, although the method can be used for much longer and larger installations.
